How early do I need to make a reservation?
We would like at least 30 days prior to your event to get you scheduled and processed. Understandably, this is not always possible. Please don’t wait until the last minute to call and get on the schedule! If circumstances allow, call ahead of time. During those times when last minute plans are unavoidable we will certainly do our very best to help you get on the schedule!
What if I only need my items for one day?
Despite needing your item for only one day, or 4 days, the price is the same. A one-day rental is the same as a 4-day rental. Once you exceed four days, then the price will be reevaluated on a case by case basis.
Do you deliver?
Yes! In order to qualify for delivery services, you must be renting a minimum of $200 or more in items. Delivery is NOT included in the price and is an additional fee based upon mileage. Please submit a form to request a delivery quote. Click HERE.
Can I just leave a deposit?
We require payment in full to complete a reservation. Payment is collected on page 2 of the rental agreement. No deposits.
What if I cancel early?
Cancellation by customer less than 30 days from rental date on file will result in a 75% refund of payments made to Katy Barrel Company; less than 14 days from rental date will result in a 50% refund; less than 7 days will result in only a 25% refund.
Will my barrels fit in my car or SUV?
Wine and/or Whiskey barrels will not fit inside of a car. You can fit 1-2 in an SUV depending on whether it is full or midsized. Be sure to bring blankets or towels with you!
How many barrels fit in the back of my truck bed?
Most full sized truck beds allow for 4 barrels to fit inside with the tailgate closed. Occasionally, depending on make and model, you can squeeze one or even 2 more with the tailgate down and the barrels tied down.
What do I need to bring with me when I come to pick up my barrels?
Please refer to a copy of your rental agreement for the address and access code. We DO NOT supply any straps, tie downs, rope or blankets. It is highly recommended that you bring any of those things with you that you might need, based upon the products that you are renting.
Where do I pick them up?
All of our rental products are stored at our Warehouse Facility in Richmond, TX. This facility is utilized for product pick up and return only as it is NOT a store front and is made available only to customers.

Will there be someone there to help me load up?
Absolutely. We will get you loaded up and unloaded upon arrival.
Can someone else return them if I’m out of town?
Of course! If this is the case, we will require a name and phone # as a point of contact for your account. This is often time the case and is never a problem so long as we know with whom to communicate regarding the return of the products.
What if it rains on the products?
KBC products are crafted to be utilized at parties and events. They can be splashed on, spilled on and then wiped clean. However, they should NEVER be left out in the rain nor should they be left sitting in pooling water. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure products are kept out of the elements.
What if I return them late?
If you run into trouble getting your items returned, PLEASE COMMUNICATE with us. If I know you are working to resolve the matter, we are extremely understanding and flexible. A late fee of 50% of total rental fee shall be charged each day products are not returned. Failure, refusal or neglect to return products within 72 hours after required return date shall prove evidence of an intention to commit theft.

Do you offer special pricing for charities?
Unfortunately, we do not. We do however try to add additional items to the agreement for no additional charge if the rental reservation meets minimum requirements. We are often asked this question and try our best to share our services with as many organizations out there as possible.
